A Vision Realized Through Dedication
In 1992, Rev. Fr. Philip Ettaparamphil, SAC began an extraordinary journey with just 10 Catholic families and Sunday collections of Rs. 40. He personally carried construction materials, sat day and night on cement bags, and even cleaned mud roads while overseeing the building process.
The resulting modern shell-shaped structure features an 80-foot towering altar with distinctive umbrella beam engineering. German architectural influences blend with contemporary design, creating what visitors consistently describe as 'phenomenal woodwork' and 'mind-blowing craftsmanship.'
Today, our spacious interior with semi-circular wooden pews promotes community togetherness, while stained glass windows cast colored light throughout the nave. The compound includes wheelchair accessibility, underground halls, and even a small bird sanctuary reflecting our environmental consciousness.
